Although there are millions of us in the world who live with Hyperhidrosis, it is a subject that is simply not discussed. Most of us try to manage this disorder, every day, in isolation and a silence borne of shame.
After a lifetime of trying to pretend it away, trying to hide it, and of putting on that smile while melting of shame on the inside, I decided it was time to confront this demon. Hyperhidrosis is a disorder that makes your hands sweaty, or your underarms, and other body parts. It is just a disorder, it is not who you are. Yet, it has such power over those of us afflicted with it that it can control every aspect of our lives.
